Fill with Color

Fill with Color is also called Color Bucket. It is used to fill the selected color in the picture, drawings and shapes. To select it, press Left Click on it with the mouse.

Color Picker

As the name suggests. Color Picker Tool is used to pick the color of a picture. The color on which the Color Picker is placed. That’s where you can use Color. To use it too, move the mouse pointer over it and press Left Click.

Color Box

Color Box tells which color is currently being used. Color 1 denotes the Foreground Color (upper colour). Which you use by Left Click. And Color 2 represents the Background Color (lower color). Which you can use by Right Click. Apart from this, the same Color Eraser tool is also used.

Color Palette

All the main colors are shown in the Color Palette. Whichever color you want to use. Click on it and you can use it.

Edit Color

Edit Color is next to the Color Palette. It is used to mix the color according to you. When you do not like any color from Color Palette, then you can make the color of your choice from here. and can use it.

How to Fill Color in MS Paint Drawing Picture

Now you are well acquainted with the Color Tools available in MS Paint. Now we will tell you how a picture is colored in MS Paint.

Step: #1 – Open Painting Drawing
Step: #2 – Activate the Color Tool
Step: #3 – Select the Color
Step: #4 – Fill Color

Step: #1 – Open Painting Drawing

First of all, by opening MS Paint, any Picture, Drawing, Shape which you want to color, open it in MS Paint or you can make a new drawing for yourself now.

We have opened a picture for you. In which there are three clouds. We will color the clouds red.

Step: #2 – Activate the Color Tool

Now you have to activate the color tool. For this, Fill with Color Tool has to be selected. To select it, click on the icon of the Bucket from the Tools group of the Home tab. To know whether Fill with Color is selected or not? Look at your mouse pointer, which has turned into a Bucket.

When your mouse pointer changes to Bucket, then your color tool has been activated.

Step: #3 – Select the Color

Now by clicking on Color 1, click on the color of your choice from the Color Palette. By doing this, that color will be selected. We told you earlier that red color will do. So, we have chosen red color here.

Step #4 – Fill Color

From here we chose red for the clouds. Which have now been colored. You can see them below. To fill the color, you just go to the picture and click on the bucket. As soon as you click, the selected color will be filled in the drawing.

Similarly, you can fill any color of your choice in any paint drawing using the paint color tool.
