What is Computer (what is Computer?)

Computer is an electronic device which can store data, manipulate them and give output as per instructions given by the user in it. It is not only a computing device, but it also stores a large amount of data, and makes logical decisions.

What is the means by a Computer System?

Actually the term “computer” refers to a computer system, which is usually a combination of one or more input devices, output devices and a processing unit.

What is Input Device? (What is an input device?)

Input device A device that is used to give instructions/input data to a computer system. Some examples of input devices are keyboard, mouse, scanner, camera, light pen, joystick, touch sensitive monitor, etc.

What is Processing Unit

Processing unit is the equipment, which is used to process the inputted data, prepare the result accordingly and produce the output. Hence, you can say that, the processing device controls the entire computer system. Processing device is also known as CPU.
