How to Create Shapes in MS Paint

1- To create Shapes, you have to open MS Paint first.

2- After opening it, look at the Shapes Box from the Home Tab. It is shown in the red square below.

3- Different types of Shapes are available to use in Shape Box. In these shapes you get to draw Line, Curve, Oval, Rectangle, Polygon, Triangle, Arrows, Callouts, Hearts, Stars etc. Shapes. The shape you want to use. Click on it. That shape will be selected. To know whether the shape has been selected or not? Drag your Mouse Pointer to see. On dragging the mouse pointer, the selected shape starts forming.

Changing the Size of Shapes

You can create Shapes in different sizes. If you have to create a shape of lesser thickness (Width). So choose less thickness of Shape. And if you want to create a thicker shape, then choose more thickness of the shape. To change the size of Shapes, we have told below.

2- On clicking the Down Arrow, lines of different sizes will open in front of you. From here you can choose the thickness of the line according to the thickness of your choice. You will click on any thickness line. Shapes will be of the same thickness.

3- You can also do the size of Shapes through Keyboard. To increase the thickness of the shape, press + (Plus) along with Ctrl from the keyboard. And to decrease the thickness of the Shape, press – (Minus) with Ctrl from the keyboard.

Change Color of Shapes

You can create Shapes in any color as per your choice. You can create Shapes of two colors simultaneously. Below we have told how the color of Shapes is changed? And how are different colored shapes made?

1- To change the first color of Shapes, first click on Color 1. After this click on the color of your choice from the Color Palette. By doing this your first color will change. You can use this color through Left Click. The first color is called the Foreground Color.

2- To change the background color of Shapes, first click on Color 2. After this click on the color of your choice from the Color Palette. By doing this your background color will change. You can use this color by Right Click.

Filling Color in Shapes

1- To fill color in Shapes, first you have to activate the Color Bucket Tool.

2- To activate it, click on the Icon of Color Bucket from the Tools Group of the Home Tab. To know whether the Color Bucket is selected or not? Look at your Mouse Pointer. The mouse pointer has now changed to Color Bucket.

3- Now to fill the first color in Shapes, first click on Color 1. After this click on the color of your choice from the Color Palette. By doing this your first color will change. You can use this color through Left Click. The first color is called the Foreground Color.

4- To fill the second i.e. Background Color in Shapes, click on Color 2 first. After this click on the color of your choice from the Color Palette. By doing this your background color will change. You can use this color by Right Click.
