Computer Basic Course Fourth Day Full Detail
Fourth Day in Computer Fundamentals
Computer Fundamentals
(Introduction of Computer)(Computer Basic Course)
What is Extranel Memory?
Memory, which is used to store data and programs externally, is called external memory. Examples of external memory are Floppy Disk, CD ROM etc. It is like secondary memory, but used externally.
What is Floppy Disk?
Floppy Disk is an external storage device. It is used to store data externally. You can easily carry it from one place to another. Floppy disk is a very popular device which is used to move/carry data from one place to another or from one computer system to another computer. It can store about 1.44 MB of data at a time. It is made of iron oxide, covered with a thick hard plastic jacket.
What is DVD ROM / Write?
DVD ROM / Write (DVD ROM / Write) means Digital Versatile Disk (Digital Versatile Disc). It is a storage device (a storage device). Its capacity is much more than Floppy Disk. It is a kind of Read / Write DVD (DVD) and CD (Compact Disc) {CD (Compact Disc)}. Its storage capacity is around 4.8 GB. It is made of optical fiber.(Computer Basic Course)
Computer System
What is Computer Hardware?
The physical structure of the computer is called computer hardware. In other words, we can say that, different part of computer system is called computer hardware. Ex:- Monitor, mouse, keyboard (monitor, mouse, keyboard) etc. are some examples of computer hardware parts.
What is Computer Software?
Software is a program, which is used to perform certain tasks on a computer.
There are two types of computer software:
- System Software 2. Application Software
What is System Software?
The software (software) which is necessary to operate / boot (operate / boot) a computer system is called System Software. Computer hardware is useless if there is no system software. System software is like an intermediary between the user and the computer.
Ex:- Operating System (Operating System):- Window 7,8,10 Translator Program (Translator Program):- Such as Compiler (Compiler), Interpreter (Interpreter), Assembler (Assembler) etc. Examples of System Software .
What is Application Software?
Software, which is used for specific applications/tasks like word processing, designing, inventory control, data entry, billing (word processing, designing, inventory control, data entry, billing) etc. Application software ) is called. It is also called package. Like, MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Page Maker, Coral Draw, Photoshop, Tally, AutoCAD, MP3 Player Player) etc. are some examples of Application Software.(Computer Basic Course)
What is Operating System?
Operating system is system software, which is required to boot any computer system. The operating system forms an interface between hardware and software.
There are two types of operating systems: 1. Single User Operating System (Single User Operating System)
- Multi User Operating System
What is Single User Operating System?
Each computer needs a Single User Operating System to work individually. It does not provide the facility to communicate with different computers. It also has poor security measures, but it is cheaper, and consumes less memory space.
What is Multi User Operating System?
Multi User Operating System (Multiuser Operating System) is an operating system (operating system program). Which provides the facility to communicate with different computers. Multi User Operating System (Multi User Operating System) is used to connect two or more computers to share data. It helps the user to communicate with different computer systems very easily and quickly. Its security measures are also good, but it is expensive, and consumes a large amount of memory space.(Computer Basic Course)
What is Program?
The step by step instruction to do the desired task in any computer language is called a program. For example, instructions written in COBOL, BASIC, C, C++ etc. are called programs.
