How to use Eraser Tool in MS Paint Complete Information

Using Eraser in MS Paint

Step: #1 – Open Painting Drawing

First of all, by opening MS Paint, open the picture, drawing, shape you want to erase (erase) in it, also open it in MS Paint or you can create a new drawing for yourself now.

Step: #2 – Activate the Eraser Tool

Now you have to activate the Eraser Tool. To activate it, click on the Eraser icon from the Tools group of the Home tab. To know whether the Eraser has been activated or not? Look at your mouse pointer, which has turned into an Eraser (Square Box).

Step: #3 – Set up the Eraser Tool

After the Eraser Tool is activated, you have to set it. so that you can use it. For this you do the following settings:

Increase or Decrease Eraser Size: Enlarge the Eraser by pressing the + (plus) key along with the Ctrl key from the keyboard to increase the size of the eraser. To minimize further, press the – (Minus) key along with Ctrl.

Change the color of the Eraser: To change the color, you go to the Colors group and then click on Color 2 and click on White Color from the Color Palette. By doing this, the background color will become white. Whatever color you take, the same color will become of rubber. But, it is important to keep the background color white. Because when you use Eraser, it uses only Background Color. That’s why it must be white.

Step: #4 Use the Erase Tool

After making all the settings, move the Eraser over the part you want to erase and drag the mouse. Your image will be erased.

You can see above that the front part of the cloud has been erased by the Eraser. If you want, you can also delete the entire picture.
