Tally Solution Company was earlier known as Peutronics. Which was developed together in 1986 by Shri Shyam Sundar Goenka and his son Shri Bharat Goenka. At that time Shyam Sundar Goenka used to run a company, he used to supply raw material and machine parts to other plants and textile mills. Therefore, to manage this business, he did not have any software so that he could easily do his calculations.

To overcome this problem, Shri Shyam Sundar Goenka asked his son to make such a software so that we can manage our business easily. Bharat Goenka, who was a graduate in Mathematics, launched the first version for the accounting application in the form of MS-DOS application. It had only basic accounting functions. Whose name was named Peutronics Financial Accountant.
