Ledger Creation Tally – Account / Ledger / Account :- Ledger or Account is a table in which the Soda is classified according to their nature and written sequentially at one place under a heading, in simple words any person, property and income-expenditure etc. The list which is made by sorting the related articles is called Khata or Ledger.

The abbreviation of the word Account is A/c in English. This abbreviated form is often used in the accounts and each account is divided into two sides. Left side is called Debit Debit and right side is called Credit Ledger or Account Creation in Tally:-

To create Ledger in Tally follow the following steps –

We can create account in two ways in Tally

Ledger Creation Tally

1. Single Ledger
2. Multiple Ledger

Do you know about Ledger Under Group which is very important to make Ledger, it is very important for you to have Under Group knowledge of Ledger without Under Ledger Group we will not be able to create ledger –

1- Single Ledger –

Through this option only one account can be created at a time.

• In the single ledger creation screen, first enter the name of the ledger.
• Now enter under group ledger like SBI Bank a/c will be under group Bank Accounts, same will be Purchase A/c – Purchase account, Salary a/c – indirect expenses, GST A/c – Duties & Taxes.
• Now fill the mailing details.
• Save it by pressing Ctrl + A button.
• In this way we can create ledger in tally.

2- Multiple Ledger – Ledger Creation Tally

Through this option you can create more than one account at a time.
