My computer

You get this facility through My Computer that you can work with files, folders and drives kept in the computer.
1: Click Start. Start menu will appear.

This area does not contain files that all users can access on their computers to work.
Items in this area show your hard drive, floppy drive, CD ROM drive and other drives that are available on your computer.

3: Double-click on those items to bring up all the contents of a drive or folder.
The contents of your chosen drive or folder are exposed.
This area shows the option in which you can choose to do some normal work and you can also go to your computer for normal usage. All these available options depend on the item you choose.

4: If you want to work more with the content on the computer, you can double-click on that folder and see more content.

Change of screen resolution

You can get this by changing the screen resolution and setting the information that fits your screen. Your monitor and video editor decide which screen resolutions are available on your computer.

1 Right click in the empty area of ​​the desktop with your mouse. A menu will come there.
2 Click on Properties, then the Display Properties dialog box will appear.
3 Click the Settings tab.

4 To change the screen resolution, drag the slider and select the regulation for your use.

Change date and time

Change desktop theme

You can use the desktop theme to change the design of Windows to your liking. Each desktop theme consists of several items including: desktop background, screen saver, color, sound, mouse pointer, icon and font.

1: Right click with your mouse in the empty area of ​​the desktop. A menu will come there.
2: Click on Properties, then the Display Properties dialog box will appear.
3: Click on the themes tab.
4: Click on this area, a list of available themes will appear.
5: Click on the desktop themes you want to use.

To revert to the original desktop theme, again take steps from 1 to 6 and select Windows XP in five steps.

Change mouse settings

You can also change the speed of mouse pointer moving on the screen and in most dialog boxes you can also get the feature of mouse pointer to appear automatically on a default button.
