MS PowerPoint Slide Show Tab
In this Lesson we will tell you about Slide Show Tab of MS PowerPoint. You can activate the Slide Show Tab of MS PowerPoint by pressing Alt + S from the keyboard. Or you can also use it by mouse.
Slide Show Tab is divided into several groups. Each group has commands related to a specific task. You can use these commands by pressing the mouse. Below we will tell you how many groups are there in Slide Show Tab? And what is the function of the commands available in each group.
Slide Show Tab Groups Names and Their Functions
There are total 3 groups in Slide Show Tab. You can see them in the screen shot shown above. These groups are named Start Slide Show, Set Up, and Monitors respectively. Now you have become familiar with the Groups of Slide Show Tab. Let us now know the work of each group.
Start Slide Show In PowerPoint
Slide Show is controlled by the commands available in this group. There are mainly 3 commands in this group. Slide Show starts from the first slide by the first From Beginning command. Through the second command From Current Slide command, Slide Show starts from that slide. The slide we are currently working on. If you do not want to run your Slide Show like this. So you can also set Custom Slide Show. Through this you can start Slide Show as per your wish. And if you do not want any slide to be shown in Slide Show, then you can also hide that slide.
Set Up In PowerPoint
This command is used to set Slide Show. There are 5 commands in this group. Advance settings related to Slide Show are done through the first command Set Up Slide Show. The second command is used by Hide Slide to hide the selected slide from Slide Show. Narration is recorded for a particular slide through the third command Record Narration. If you have a microphone then you can record your own voice in Narration. Rehearsal of Slide Show is done by the fourth command Rehearse Timings. Through this, Slide Show Time, Slides etc. are seen. The last command Use Rehearsed Timings is used to use only the time taken during Rehearse Timings of Slide Show for Slide Show.If you want to use this Timings, then check it. And if you do not want to use this Timings, then unchecked it.
Monitors In PowerPoint
The setting related to Monitor and Resolution is usually done by this command. If you have more than one monitor on your computer. Then you can see Full Screen Slide Show on a monitor. And on the second monitor, Timings and Speaker Notes related to that slide are shown. You can see it through Presenter View. But, for this you must have more than one monitor. Apart from this, you can also set the resolution for Slide Show. Details are less visible in small resolution, but its speed is fast. At the same time, all the details of the slides are shown in the big resolution. But, it loads slower with smaller resolution.
