How To Use View And Review Tab In PowerPoint
MS PowerPoint View Tab
In this lesson, we will tell you about the View Tab of MS PowerPoint. You can activate the View Tab of MS PowerPoint by pressing Alt + P from the keyboard. Or you can also use it by mouse.
The View Tab is divided into several groups. Each group has commands related to a specific task. You can use these commands by pressing the mouse. Below we will tell you how many groups are there in the View Tab? And what is the function of the commands available in each group.
View Tab Groups Names and Their Functions
There are total 6 groups in the View Tab. You can see them in the screen shot shown above. These groups are named Presentation Views, Show/Hide, Zoom, Color/Gray scale, Window and Macros respectively. Now you have become familiar with the Groups of View Tab. Let us now know the work of each group.
Presentation Views In PowerPoint
Presentation Views Group contains commands related to viewing slides in different styles. Through these, you can view a PowerPoint presentations in different ways in MS PowerPoint itself before printing or publishing it. There are 4 types of Presentation Views available in Document Views. Presentation in Normal View is shown in Normal View. In this the presentation will look like after being printed. Looks like that. In Slide Sorter View, all the slides available in a presentation are shown together on the computer screen. Any slide you want to see. That slide will start appearing in Normal View.Slides are shown in Notes View in Notes Page View. And last, but most important, in the Slide Show View, all the slides available in the presentation are shown in the Slide Show. In this way slides are shown on the entire computer screen. You can control Slide Show by Mouse Click or Auto Time.
Show/Hide In PowerPoint
There are many tools related to Presentation in Show / Hide Group. In this you will find mainly 2 tools. The first tool is Ruler, which is enabled by clicking on the box next to it. On enabling it, Ruler is installed in the slide. With which you can see and change the margins of the slide. The second tool is Grid lines in it. It can be used while inserting objects in PowerPoint slides. On enabling this, the entire page is divided into grid lines. The last tool in this group is the Message Bar. It is used in PowerPoint to alert the user to potential dangers.If MS Office finds any potential threat in your content. So it shows us the message in Automatic PowerPoint Window.
Zoom In PowerPoint
The commands available in the Zoom Group are used to view the slides at different zoom levels. Through the commands available in it, you can see the slides by enlarging or reducing them according to you. Or you can also see Slides in Fit to Window.
Color/Grayscale In PowerPoint
The use of this group is to see the color of the presentation or it has to be seen in Black & White. Such settings are done. If you want to see the presentation in color, then use the Color Command. And if you do not want to see the presentation in color, then use the gray scale command.
Window In PowerPoint
If you work on more than one PowerPoint Presentation at a time. So Window Group is made for you only. Through this you control the Open PowerPoint Windows. You can go to another window only while working in a presentation. And from this one can go to any other presentation. Or you can show two presentations simultaneously on the desktop.
Macros In PowerPoint
You are working on a project. And some information in it is going to be of use to you again and again. So the work of Macros starts from here. If you have to use any one information repeatedly. So by recording the macro of that information, once you write it, you can use that information without writing. We connect Macro with keyboard shortcut. And when we have to write that information. So we just have to press that shortcut from the keyboard. And all the information is written automatically.

Proofing In PowerPoint
There are many useful commands related to PowerPoint Presentations in Proofing Group. This group mainly contains commands like Spelling, Research, Thesaurus, Translate, Language etc. The most important command is spelling in it. By which the spelling and grammar related errors in the text written in any PowerPoint slide can be corrected. In this Thesaurus Command is used to find the synonyms of a word. You can also translate the document in different languages present in MS PowerPoint through Translate Command. That language is set by the Language Command. The language for which you want to check Spelling & Grammar.
Comments In PowerPoint
If you want to write something extra about a specific word or group of words available in a PowerPoint Presentation. So the Comment Command is used for this. You can write a new comment from here. You can also edit, delete the previous comment.
