[SETC] Clerk job in danger, must pass SETC Test-2021 in one year

The job of dozens of field clerks of the Department of Irrigation and Water Resources is in danger and to save it they have to pass a test. The field clerks have not been able to pass the SETC (State Eligibility Test in Computer Appreciation and Application) test in a two-year probation period. He has got one year extension from the government to pass the test, if he does not pass in this period, he will have to lose his job.

His increment has also been stopped for not passing the SETC test within two years of his appointment. If these clerks pass the SETC test in the third year, then the increment will be due from the due period, but there will be no arrears. This department has cleared the clerk with an extension of one year probation period. The purpose behind this is also that clerks should not go to court in future. The engineer-in-chief of the irrigation department has issued instructions in this regard to all the superintending engineers on June 9.

He has asked all the Superintending Engineers to list the clerks who do not pass the SETC test working under them. The probation period of the failed clerk in the SETC test has increased by a year, but the sword is hanging on the job. If you pass, you will be able to enjoy the pleasure of a government job or else you will have to sit at home. These clerks were appointed on 19 March 2018 with various conditions. He got charge at various places in Haryana, to maintain his services under condition number 11 of the appointment letter, it is necessary to pass computer SETC test.

It is necessary to type 30 words per minute in English and 25 words per minute in Hindi. Failure to do so causes the test to fail. According to the letter of the Engineer-in-Chief of the Irrigation Department, there are many such clerks, whose two-year probation period has been completed, but they could not succeed in passing the SETC test.
