Quick Access Toolbar and Its Uses
Quick Access Toolbar is given in various text editor programs of Microsoft. Its main purpose is to store frequently used commands and buttons at one place. Add Commands to the Quick Access Toolbar work differently than Tab. They have nothing to do with any tab. You can view it in Microsoft Office’s MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, WordPad and MS Paint except Notepad.
This toolbar acts as a shortcut tray. In which most of the useful commands are there for you. Some common commands like Save, New, Cut, Copy, Undo, Redo, Print etc. are added to the Quick Access Toolbar. So that you are able to use them in one click from the Quick Access Toolbar instead of using them manually.

Where to find Quick Access Toolbar ?
The Quick Access Toolbar is added above the Ribbon by default. You can see it in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Paint on the Title Bar in the top left corner of the Ribbon. If you do not see the Quick Access Toolbar in its place, then you can see it under the Ribbon.
How to Customize Quick Access Toolbar ?
1- Adding Commands and Buttons
To add any command and button to the Quick Access Toolbar, you have to do a simple process. For this, right click on any command or button you want to add. After that click on Add to Quick Access Toolbar. And that Command or Button will be added to the special Quick Access Toolbar.
2- Remove Commands and Buttons
On the contrary, you can also remove Buttons from the Quick Access Toolbar. For this, you have to do the opposite of the process mentioned above. Right click on any button or command you want to remove from the Quick Access Toolbar. After that click on Remove from Quick Access Toolbar. And that Command or Button will be removed from the special Quick Access Toolbar.
