What is the Price List ?

How to Create Price List in Tally

Creating a Price List in Tally is very easy, but before preparing the price list in Tally, we should enter the stock item and ensure the entry of the stock for which we are going to set the price in the Purchase Voucher. 1- Activate Price List in Tally

To create a price list in tally, first we have to activate the price list for which we have to follow the following steps –

• First of all go to Gateway of Tally.
• Now we can select the Feature option or directly press f11.
• Go to the Sales Management section.
• Yes to Use Multiple Price Level.

2- Prepare Company Price Level

Now we have to prepare the company price level i.e. according to our business business, to whom we will sell goods and services like customer, distributor, retailer and wholesaler, we can set different price for all these because all of them have different price. The nature of buying will be different.

After the above price level is created, you can save it, that is, save it by pressing Ctrl + A, in this way the price level i.e. price list can be activated or activated.

3- Goto Inventor Info : Price List in Tally

4- Select Price List

5- Select Stock Groups or Stock Categories

You have to select the option Stock Group or Stock Category available under Price List for us to prepare the Price List like we are preparing the Price List by selecting the Stop Group below, you can also select the Stock Category if you want.

6- Preparation of Price List

After selecting the stop group we will see the screen to generate the price list in which we have to fill the following option –

1- Under Group – All Items

While preparing the price list, the first option is available to us under group, under which we have to select all the items, the main advantage of selecting it is that all the stock items together regardless of which group they are in, the price list is prepared. can do. Because the price list we should do the tax of all the items in the initial days itself.

2- Price Level

Price level means that for whom we want to set the selling price like – Customer, Retailor, Distributor or Whole Seller, out of these, you can prepare a price list by selecting any one option as per your requirement, remember for different buyers. Separate price will have to be prepared.

3- Applicable From

In front of this option, from which date we have to apply this price price is determined.
